HELLO,

I’m Kevin :)

Kevin Orantes – Senior Product Designer

I am a Senior Product Designer specializing in digital product design, UX/UI, and web and mobile applications. With over five years of experience, I have collaborated with leading brands, including Dunkin’, Taco Bell, and Red Lobster, to create seamless, user-centered experiences that enhance engagement and drive business success.

Originally from Guatemala, I moved to San Francisco, CA, over a decade ago to pursue a career in the creative industry. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media and Web Design from the Academy of Art University and later advanced my technical expertise with an Advanced Web Development Certification from City College of San Francisco.

Currently, I lead product design initiatives at Ridecell, optimizing fleet orchestration solutions through research-driven, high-fidelity design systems. My work focuses on user research, interaction design, and prototyping, ensuring intuitive and scalable digital experiences.

Beyond my professional work, I am the founder of Trailheadgays, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering community through outdoor activities for the LGBTQ+ community across the Bay Area. In my free time, I also explore illustration, photography, and other creative outlets. Based in San Francisco, CA, I find inspiration in the city's vibrant energy—especially during its uniquely unpredictable "summers."
